Personal Data collected includes: Name, Contact Phone Number, Shipping Address, Billing Address, Email Address, Order History, Payment Transaction Identifiers, Device/IP details, and Cookie Preferences.

Processing is based on your explicit, free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous Consent under Section 6 of the DPDP Act 2023, or for legitimate uses such as fulfilling purchases, legal compliance, and fraud prevention.

Order Fulfillment: Processing your purchases, generating invoices, coordinating shipment via courier partners (e.g. Shiprocket), and sending order tracking notifications.

Customer Care: Responding to product inquiries, returns, refunds, support tickets, and service requests.

Consent-Based Communications: Sending updates on new collections, exclusive offers, or loyalty notifications when you opt in.

Storefront Security & Optimization: Analytics, detecting fraudulent transactions, and maintaining session security.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you enjoy the following statutory rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access (Section 11): You have the right to obtain a summary of personal data being processed by us and the identities of data processors with whom data is shared.

• Right to Correction & Erasure (Section 12): You have the right to request correction of inaccurate data, completion of incomplete data, or erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary for legal or order fulfillment purposes.

• Right to Withdraw Consent (Section 6(4)): You have the right to withdraw your consent for marketing, analytics, or personalization at any time through Account Settings or our Consent Manager without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

• Right of Grievance Redressal (Section 13): You have the right to readily available grievance redressal provided by Arka Clothing.

• Right to Nominate (Section 14): You have the right to nominate an individual to exercise your data rights in the event of death or incapacity.

We share your personal data only with trusted Data Processors under strict confidentiality and security contracts solely for fulfilling service contracts:

• Payment Gateways (e.g. Razorpay) for secure payment processing (We do not store your full card credentials).

• Logistics & Shipping Partners (e.g. Shiprocket, Delhivery, BlueDart) for doorstep delivery.

• Cloud & Hosting Infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Redis) hosted in secure server regions.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party data brokers under any circumstances.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the specified purposes or as required by applicable tax, GST, accounting, and consumer protection laws of India.

Upon receipt of a valid data erasure request or upon account deletion, we securely erase or anonymize your personal data, except data required to be retained under statutory Indian laws.
